Community Fund
There is a special fund in Vermont managed by VIRS called the Yolande
Henry Community Fund, which pays for interpreting services for events
not covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act or any other
legislation. These events include weddings, funerals, family reunions
and family parties. This fund is for all Vermonters. Donations are
accepted and are tax deductible. The funding is generated from private
donations, fund raising events as well as from grants.
As with all requests, please give us as much lead time as possible
in requesting interpreting services using these funds.
